The Shoulder Edit

I've always enjoyed reading fashion blogs/ magazines online and many of the fashionistas
I like have all embraced this style for the summer season!
I've also been following Zalora's online fashion magazine and I really agree with the statement 'the shoulder is one of the slimmest parts of the female body'.
It definitely falls into the 'must have' category in my closet!

Good for you if you've been blessed with a slim waist or legs and can flaunt them with mini shorts/ midriff baring tops,

I think this off-shoulder/ shoulder baring tops are one of the pieces that almost every female can carry off cos they show off the shoulders and collar bones.
Though this style is not a new trend but it's been gaining popularity
and I can totally understand why.
The pairings are almost endless!

In this post, I've decided to juxtapose a feminine lace off shoulder top with an equally popular ripped boyfriend jeans.
I've chosen to wear a pair of cross strap heels from Charles & Keith and completed my look with my Alma BB for that perfect mix of feminine, edgy and street chic.

Guess what?
we headed to the highly acclaimed Lady M for some tea after our little back street photography jaunt.
Look at those amazing berries!
The place lived up to its reputation for good sweet treats but was a tad pricey..nonetheless, it's a lovely place to spend the afternoon.

Some other outfits sporting this off/cold shoulder trend:

1) Feminine pairing with this pastel pink culottes from FashMob,
nude Varina flats from Salvatore Ferragamo and rose gold clutch
for a weekend brunch date.

2) Fringe Lace Skirt with a cold shoulder top and
pops of orange for accessories for a casual dinner date

3) Edgy X Feminine pairing on the streets of Bangkok.
Kept cool with this floral cold shoulder cropped top from Love,Bonito
and white highwaisted ripped boyfriend jeans.
Completed the look with gold accessories c/o O'oro Accessories.

Which one is your favourite? :)

With the ever humid climate on our sunny island,
this fashion option is like a God send!
It not only helps us beat the heat, it also allows us to stay chic at the same time.

Have a fantastic day ahead!

[OUTFIT] Monochrome

Growing up, I used to dislike black cos I found the colour uninteresting and dull.
I often wonder why do people love this boring colour so much?!
As the years went by, I gradually understood why.
Apart from its obvious slimming effect, there's something about this colour..
It adds that element of sophistication and black never ever goes wrong.

This outfit, I kept the colours to two basic ones but paired pieces with pretty details to keep the outfit interesting.
I picked this black lace off shouldered top, paired it with a white midi with mesh detail and a cute pair of flats with an oversized bow.
Voila!

I just love how everything goes well together and how the oversized bow flats add a girlish element to a rather feminine getup.

I wanted a casual pair of black flats for everyday wear and found this adorable pair from Rubi Shoes on Zalora together with the brown woven pair from my previous post.
Guess what? They were on sale woohoo!
I love a good bargain, I mean..who doesn't.. right?
Anyway a girl can never have to many pairs of shoes! ;)

Have a great day!

[OUTFIT] Vintage Calling

Can't believe its already April, my my how time flies! :D

I've always loved the cut of vintage dresses
so I was beyond thrilled when my vintage dresses from America finally came.
This vintage dress I wore was a simple white one with some embroidery detail on the bodice.
I kept everything simple by pairing it with a thin brown toned woven belt and my new brown woven sandals that I bought from Rubi Shoes on Zalora.
You can see a 'woven' theme going on ;)

I've been looking for a pair of vintage looking woven sandals for awhile now and imagine my delight when I found these darlings from Rubi Shoes on Zalora and they were on sale!
*happy dance*
I love how my dress goes with all the brown.

Have a lovely midweek!
